Realistically... when do we start interviewing for jobs?

Graduation is nearing for a lot of us, I know, and I was just curious when you try to start setting up interviews. Fall of senior semester? Spring of senior semester? I'm in NE Ohio where we have the Clinic, etc., who always seems to be hiring, but how do you nail that one job you've really been wanting? (Or is that impossible?) Just curious on the timing so I don't miss the boat!

I am right now getting in touch with 2 units of my interest, and was actually offered a job on one unit where i have done clinicals before.!

my tip = perform your best on clinicals, dont sit around, befriend the charge nurse, and bring them a little something for holidays, easter, i always bring donuts or something!

keep all doors open.. you never know !
