Re entering the nurse profession

Hi, I worked as a MS nurse for two years and then stepped away for two years. After two years I went back to same hospital for 4 months & left because they could not give me the training I needed. I refused a vent patient because I had no training. I got bullied & lied on by the PCU staff nurses. It was awful. I moved and now I’m considering going back to MS or finding a PCU position willing to train. I did get the PCU job with no interview because of MS manager. I was very lucky on that but it didn’t turn out so good. Anyway I’m ready to apply again but wondering if I can still apply to acute care? I don’t think PCU would be viewed as recent experience. Can’t find RN refresher course because of Covid. I’m not a new grad so new grad residency programs are out of the question. Feeling stuck. I really want to work in acute care.
