I somehow managed to delete my other post, while attempting to edit it, so here we go again...
Alright ladies and gentlemen! Im new to this forum, although not new to nursing. I completed all my pre-reqs and was in nursing school for a year. I had a huge loss in my life and dropped out of nursing school for personal reasons; that was in 05.
My nursing GPA was around 3.7+, but my overall GPA is now =( a 3.4, do you think that will make a huge difference?
I already have pharm and pathophys done, so I think I am a few steps ahead of the game. I also have already done some clinicals and basic nursing theory courses, etc. whatever courses you complete in your first year of nursing.
Would that be an advantage over other applicants (having taken so many nursing/science courses already) or would I be viewed differently after dropping out of nursing school?
Let me know what you all think.
Thanks!!

My sister had to drop out of nursing school due to a pregnancy and her husband being relocated to the UK. She's moving back to the States next year and has already been accepted back into her nursing program. So it worked out well for her. Good luck!
