hi everyone, i woke this morning and
the first thing i checked was pearson vue website and finally the result is out and i passed finally after my last attempt. i promised myself that this would be my last try f or nclex and i did everything to pass.
here 's what i did, my friend who just passed my nclex a month ago gave her password for kaplan and motivated me to just use one reviewer and i did. i just used kaplan for the whole review, i had 7 weeks to prepare, i organized my sched and strictly followed, though sometimes i have to adjust. i answer 50-80q per day just like what kaplan recommended, i wake up every 6am and answer then in the afternoon i remediate and review everything i answered in the morning. i have my checklist with me to guide me how many more and if im on schedule.make sure to have break to release all the tension. its very important to organized your schedule and the topics you have to take.discipline yourself, remove distractions. like phone, fb and anything that would divert your attention because its so easy to be disturb. its also important that you understand the exam, passing standard questions and below passing standard. you should practice higher form of question. when i first took my exam, i dint have any idea how nclex works, i only studied below passing questions after a month i took my 2nd exam which i thought i can make it with thesame training and obviously i failed, you cant really go to the battle without proper training and equipments. please understand that .this exam is critical thinking, have your basics and put them together to answer questions.
i took qt1-6 and my scores are from 50-65%, i finished qbanks , i watch the videos especially the one with rationalization of questions with barbara , it really helped me to used the decision tree effectively. Read everyday, push yourself hard so you wont regret.
to everyone who failed and doing their review again, do your best and focus and everything will pay off.
