Has anyone confirmed their points with any of the nursing advisors?

I did not confirm my points, but I applied for CEP and received my acceptance last Wednesday. Just to update everyone

Wait, you got your acceptance? Congrats! But I thought we weren't supposed to know for another month. I am so confused.

Did you find out via RCC email? Can you share what it says on the email? Sorry for all the questions.

No problem at all!! I was shocked to receive it so early, honestly. The email was sent to my RCC email from A.B. The title of the email threw me off: IMPORTANT: RCC-Fullerton CEP CONDITIONAL Acceptance

Oh! I think that’s different from the standard ADN program. We’re supposed to hear in June. Right?

If you don't mind me asking, what were your points?

The Concurrent Enrollment program with Cal State. For Fall, the school is Cal State Fullerton. Historically, I believe the points threshold has been lower for the CEP program, because it is still fairly new and not as many people select it. It’s also a longer / more expensive program. But you receive your BSN from Cal State. As well as the ADN/RN from RCC.

Congratulations! 

I hope that the June timeframe for acceptances was a worst case scenario and that we'll all hear back in the next few weeks!

I did not confirm, but I believe my points were about 71... possibly a couple points higher depending how they calculated my A&P because the school I took it at, gives separate grades for lecture and lab. I think you are right, June was worst case because of all of the Pandemic Delays. Hopefully, everyone hears soon! And Thank you, I think I’m still in shock, LOL.

I had 74 pts. I just spoke to S & he said they calculated below that, they also wrote that I did not complete my History class (which I completed).. many mistakes. 

 

S just went over the points with me, he even stayed over his office hours. 

 

He confirmed my points as 74 and said a mistake was made but he will email A right now to bring this to her attention.

 

IF you have not confirmed your points do that ASAP.
