Raritan Bay Medical Center

Published

Hello Allnurses!

I just wanted to throw a question out there about Raritan Bay Medical Center. I've been a medical stepdown nurse for almost three years, and am looking to work in a hospital that has less beds and a more community feel, (wondering if RBMC is this???).

So, I was wondering if anyone out there works at Raritan Bay Medical Center. How do you like working there? I'm currently in school right now for RN-BSN; since it's a Magnet recognized hospital, do you know if people have trouble with being hired because of not having a BSN? Are patient:nurse ratios reasonable? Staffing? Do people generally seem content there? Are benefits good? And is there tuition reimbursement?

Thanks ahead for any responses I may receive! :-)

I am going for an interview tomorrow for the ER. I am starting BSN in the fall. It seems like most magnet hospitals require BSN but in the job description for RBMC it says progress toward BSN is acceptable for some positions. ::fingers crossed::
