I'm looking for first-hand info on RSNA in NC. If anybody has any info about the program, could you tell me about it? Thanks!

send me a PM with specifics and i'll attempt to answer them.
losflemings, I'm an ADN student at Wake Tech right across the street from the "strip mall". Today after class I checked them out for you. Quoting from the brochure she gave me: "The Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia (RSNA) is a unique partnership among Eastern North Carolina Hospital Facilities, anesthesiology practices and the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG). Founded in 1990, the school offers opportunities for graduate study in nurse anesthesia leading to a Masters Degree. The program's founding mission arose in response to the growing need for Certified RN Anesthetists with particular recognition for the needs in eastern NC. The school was founded through the cooperative efforts of Raleigh Anesthesia Associates and Wake Anesthesiology Associates, Inc (now Critical Health Systems of NC), Rex Hospital (now Rex Healthcare), Wake Medical Center (now WakeMed) and Raleigh Community Hospital."
It's a 24 month clinical and didactic curriculum. The successful graduate earns a Masters degree in Nursing (Nurse Anesthesia Concentration) from UNCG. Completion of the program ensure eligibility for the Certification Exam offered by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthestists.
For admission you have to have a BSN, current licensure as a RN in NC, 1 year full-time critical care experience prior to enrollment, etc. You also have to be admitted to the graduate school at UNCG.
Oh, and the "strip mall" is a medical complex.... I'd just never really noticed it before because I come to school up Sunnybrook and turn into our campus before reaching it.
Edited to add: I bow to the expert!! Congratulations, toobemall :)
