Hi guys! I haven't seen a thread posted on here for Rady's New grad program that just closed so I wanted to make one!

Has anyone else not heard anything??? Its been a lot longer then it was last time. I'm going on 8 weeks. They said we would know if we got an interview by 6 weeks.

I have not heard anything either. I find it weird they would say 6 weeks if that is not the case. only one person has commented otherwise so I guess we hope for the best!

It seems like we have not been selected. The email that we got after we submitted our application said: "If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the department directly" so I guess they just don't tend to send rejection emails overall. Probably, they are hiring internally; that is what most hospitals seem to be doing. Good job hunting everyone! seems like the job market is tough

@delany Ruiz I do not think that is true. I had a friend who was rejected and was sent an email two weeks ago.

Was there interviews besides hemo/onc floor? I thought with the strikes maybe it was pushed back. Never got a decline or an interview. Hope for everyone else's sake people got interviews!!:)

I just saw on their new grad page that they switched from having 3 cohorts a year, to now two. I wonder if this affects us? Who have already applied for the fall? They now also have a new grad email for contact. Maybe if we all email about an update, they will respond faster!

I'm in a mom fb group and I think I remember seeing that the nurses are on strike or something so maybe that's effecting things

She just responded and said that the change will not affect this cohort.

Hiiii I had an in-person interview at the beginning of July with the cardiac ICU and have not heard anything. I emailed the nurse manager last week checking in and got no response. Has anyone else heard back from CICU? Is anyone else in the same boat? I know other departments have sent out offers already.
