"other" work experiences on your resume?

Hi everyone, I worked as a receptionist before in a non-health-care related field. I have read some posts about people who included their retail or waiter experiences on their resume because it consists of customer service. However, I have also read some posts saying to leave out the irrelevant work experiences other than health care experiences(tech, aide, etc). So, could anybody help me with it? Did you include your other work experiences on your resume? Thanks a lot!
