Hi!
I start nursing school in the fall, and like to look at nursing job postings in my area from time to time. I came across a hospital website that states that they have just received the "Nurse-Friendly" award. What does this really mean? Do a lot of hospitals get recognized in this way? I guess it was comforting for me to see this, since I always hear of the horrible working conditions that nurses have to deal with all the time.

I would look to see who awarded the title........might just be some
local organization.
