"Becoming a Doctor is like, 100 times harder than becoming a nurse".

This is a stupid debate because what is hard for someone is easy for another. I remember in my second year of university I took an English class as an elective. That had to be the hardest class ever for me and this is after I did advance calculus and quantum mechanics. I roll my eyes every time someone says something is harder.

This woman is just trying to make herself feel better about her choices at your expense. I would seriously reconsider this friendship!

ok....debating this is just as bad as debating whether adn programs should be discontinued and start all nurses out with a bsn degree. there will never be an answer. i have a very heavy background in sciences and to say nurses don't get chemistry, genetics and pathophysiology is ridiculous. nurses that graduated 20 years ago maybe, but not today.

anyone can become a doctor; it doesn’t take genius. it is just about how much dedication you have and how much of your life you are willing to sacrifice.

As a medical student I can tell you that premed is a TON easier then medical school!

allthaticanbe - I'm just going off of my sister's schedule. She took off July and August to study for the Step2 CK

And pre-med students partying in Aruba and not taking the MCAT? Sounds like the way to go. haha.

ED_RN oh because I am in basic science still I was thinking of step 1. It was until a couple of seconds later that I remembered I have a longer break if I set up my cores properly for third year to study for Step 2ck and cs.

That's exactly what I perceived it as. Don't get me wrong, I never had any notions against any other medical professionals. I thought we were all like a big ol' happy family. I guess she wanted to make sure that I knew she was the one that wore the pants...?!!? lol.

And I'm really surprised you found English hard after QUANTUM MECHANICS! Then again, I scored in the 96th percentile for my NLN and the only thing that saved me was math. Apparently, my English SUCKS. lol

LOL, yeah- I'm sayin'! ;)

Thanks for the luck ED_RN.

Inbox, English is hard for me because I'm an Analytical thinker and sometimes I have issues thinking outside the box. (Also born and raise in Quebec could have something to do with ;) )
