Has anyone taken A&P I & II at Qunicy College? I start A&P I tomorrow- don't know what to expect, although I assume it'll be a lot of work! I still have a few days to sign up for Chem w/lab but I'm not sure if the work load would be too much for both plus working full time & training for a marathon! I'll be able to apply to Accelerated BSN programs sooner if I double up but I also want get good grades. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm also starting A&P I tonight at Quincy, are you taking the tandem class? I registered for Chem 1 on Saturdays also, hoping it's not too much work to take on! Good luck!
Yeah, I'm doing the tandem class. I was looking at doing the Chem or microbio on Saturdays. I wasn't sure if the Chem class covered any organic? I Need to have that... Good luck to you!
We must be in the same class then! And for chem, I'm taking General Chem I, and it doesn't say anything in the class description about organic chem. I know they have a separate class for that, but it looks like they're only offering section 2 this semester

Hi everyone,
I wont start A and P till summer but I would love any feedback you have once you've started! I'm thinking of doing both A and P's in the summer and maybe throw in the Development lifespan one...am i nuts? Probably, but it may be the only time I'm not working

Who is your A&P professor? I took all my prereqs at QC and had a great experience. A&P is a lot of reading and memorization. I also had to do a 20 page research paper for a&P II.
Hi PennyS- thanks for your response. I originally posted this back in January 2012 & have since completed the courses. I also had a great experience at QC..luckily I didn't have to do the 20 pager for my A&P II!

Lol! I never noticed the date! I am always late to the party. I saw on the MA board you applied to MGH. Me too! Best of luck...!
If you could both identify your profs that would be really helpful.
Good luck with MGH, I hope you both get great news!
Thanks Penny...good luck to you too!Emily- I had Kujtim bodinaku. And it might be intense taking A&P I& II over the summer with another class. The summer sessions are accelerated so I think each A & P course is just 5 weeks. A lot of material is covered & like Penny said it's a lot of memorization. But if you aren't working you might be able to balance it all. What if you took the other course this winter? You could probably find a night or online class starting in January.
I had Flor Trespalacios for both lecture and lab She is an excellent professor.
Thanks! That helps...I'll keep them in mind!
