Quick question! Going to a job fair-Do I need to wear a suit?

Published

I have a dress top and pants. Is it okay if I go wearing that? Or, should I wear a blazer over it? I'm debating whether I need a trip to the mall or not. Thanks so much!

I would definitely add the blazer and some low heels. Good Luck!

If your are serious about this job fair, go as though you were going for an interview.

Be as absolutely professional as you can. Forget what you see others doing. Have clean resumes ready. You NEVER know who you will meet or what will transpire at a job fair.

If this is just a casual look see for you then you can go less formal but still professional business wear. However, even if just casually browsing and an not really looking for a job you could miss a great oportunity if you are not prepared for anything. As I said you never know.

Make a trip. A blazer should be a permanent part of an adult wardrobe anyway.
