Hi I am new to this site and just got a new job. It has been years if ever have I dealt with some of these questions on this test that happens to be a requirement for this job. Can anyone help me answer them?
What Technique should you use for a large volume(5-6cc) IM injection?
Are 3yr old children restrained for IM injections?
A dosage of medication to an edematous person is diluted to a larger volume than in a nonedematous person? True or False?
What position is best administering a lady partsl suppository?
Can TPN patients take PO meds?
Do subclavian IV sites acquire more infections than those of peripheral lines?
Thanks so much if you can help me out!!!!

ok...here goes..lol..I would devide the medication for the Im into 2....I would say a 3 year old would need held (restrained) to prevent injury to themselves while getting the injection...I would say number 3 is false....Lithodomy for the vag supp....yes, a patient can take A po med with tpn...yes to the subclavian infections....Hope I passed ...lol
