Hi,
Here's a bit about myself. I'm twenty years old. I went to Penn State for a semester. Then I decided to take a year off. I was originally going to HACC in the fall of 2016 but changed to spring 2016. Can someone explain to me how the program works? I can't go down to harrisburg because I'm working full-time at the moment. I know I have to take math051 and bio 121 but I'm extremely confused about which courses I'm supposed to take. I have credits for Psych 101, English 101, and the free elective. I talked to an advisor on the phone today and she just got me confused. She said I'm not supposed to take any nursing courses. But I thought I had to take 140, 142, 143, 141, 144 according to the sheet. How am I supposed to get the associate's degree in two years? I know I have to complete general education courses. What's the suggested course schedule for the first semester to get into clinicals?
Please help!
Thanks.

If HACC is like any of the other PA community colleges, you actually have to complete your prerequisites before applying to the nursing program. Then, if you are accepted, you can take nursing classes. You can't just sign up for nursing classes like you would any other class. You need to contact the nursing department directly with your questions, they will be able to help you better than the "advisors."
