I have a PRN job that I'm starting on thursday at an Endoscopy center, just 1 day a week. I'm a newer nurse, graduated 8/2010, and only have 5 mo family practice experience and I'm currently on orientation on a med/surg fl at a large hospital (3 month orientation, 1 more month to go). I'm interested in finding out more about this field of nursing. Please answer questions below :)
What are your hours at work?
Would you mind sharing your salary?
Are you FT, PT, or PRN?
How long were you a nurse before you started Endoscopy? (experience)
How long have you been in Endoscopy?
Was this a hard field to get into? What steps did you take?
What do you do daily?
Do you get a lunch break?
Are you on call sometimes of have "off hours"?
What's your least favorite thing(s) about this job?
If you could do it over again, would you still be an Endoscopy?
Thanks!!!!!!
