Questions about clearwater area

I am moving from michigan to Saftey Harbor and applied for a job at Mease Countryside Hospital, but they would not give me the pay untill i interview and i called a couple other places and was told they same thing, so i have two questions for anyone that works in that area.

1.What is the pay for an L & D Nurse with 14 years experience? I seen stuff about pay on these forums but all i seen was starting pay.

2.How much out of pocket does it cost for insurance?

Please use "search" and review the hundreds of threads on Florida pay, differences in pay between Florida and many northern states. The pay quoted in them is rather low, and not merely low for new grads. But the quotes are fairly accurate.

There are generally fewer L&D positions and more nurses that want to do them in Florida, related to the age of the population.

The payrate in Florida varies. For experienced nurses fulltime with benefits, anywhere from $17.00/hr up to maybe low $30s/hr for rare positions in areas like Miami. Most will be in the low to mid $20s.

As far as insurance, it will depend on what kind of coverage you want and what sort of preexisting conditions that you have.
