I graduate from my RN program in 7 days. I've got all my coursework out of the way and I'm more or less just waiting for the pinning ceremony and the final grades to come out (I passed, so that's not really an issue). The degree is as good as in my hands at this point.
What's important is I have my first job interview tomorrow afternoon.
I'm having trouble with coming up with good questions to ask during the interview. Obviously I am going to be asking questions about the orientation process, benefits, if they provide CEUs, tuition reimbursement in case I decide to continue schooling in the future. However, beyond that I've really got nothing. I know there are probably important questions that I'll think of later. At the moment I've got writer's block and I'm a tad nervous about becoming an RN/interviewing. Not to mention I'm more or less mentally exhausted after 3 consecutive clinical days and then taking the final the day after I finished clinicals. I'm going to get a good night's sleep tonight though and that should help a lot for tomorrow.
I'm interviewing with the head of the nursing division at the hospital I'd like to work at. I just want to make sure I don't overlook anything important. I have two more interviews next week. I'd like to ask some good questions so I can contrast/compare the positions at the various facilities after I get my first round of interviews complete.
Anyone have any ideas on good questions to make sure I ask or things to keep in mind during the interview?
