i am going to an open house today at 6pm ( it's 8:36 a.m. right now) and i was wondering if anyone can help me with the questions i should ask at this open house. so far i have.......

1) is your registered nurse school program approved by the board of nursing in the state that i'll be practicing in?

2) how long does it take to complete your rn program?

3) what type of financial aid and financial aid

counseling do you offer?

4) what is the success rate of your students in passing the nclex® examination?

5) what is the gpa requirement for admissions into your program?

6) will i need to take admissions test such as the act or sat? also on the addmissions test, what ype of math will be covered on that?

7) what is the difference between part time and full time students?

8) how many classes would i have each day? how long?

9) do you help with job placement after graduation? or am i on my own?

10) i know this fall is booked, do you start in the winter or spring? i dont want to wait a full year before i can apply.

11) i know i need my bio, chem, and algebra. anymore requirements?

12) any packets on my chosen feild to take home with me?

13) i don't drive, any alternative transportation programs to get me to my labs?

14) am i going to learn real - life training or just classroom training?

15) how helpful are your professors?

16) is this a fast-paced program or do we take our time on each subject?

17) how much do you extimate that books and supplies will cost me? also can you get fianancial aide just for those things? ( i'll still try to get it for my tuition too)

18) what kinds of supplies will i need to buy for classes?

19) how good are your programs? will i learn everything i need to know, or will i be on the job and not know what i'm doing?

20) do you have any study programs? if yes, how good are they?

21) after i graduate, how long would i have to wait to do the rn to bsn program?

22) are there many job opportunities around erie county for rns? i do not want to relocate in order to get a good job.

23) do i need to do something to be able to work on the maternity ward? can a regular rn work there or do you need to specialize in that field?

24) what about pediatrics?

25) are pdas really helpful? i've read that they are because of the programing you can put on them, but are they really?

26) what is your drop out rate for rn? i've read that many schools have 2 out of every 3 people drop out due to difficulty.
