Hi all,
I like so many others I have decided to go back to school for my BSN. I am seriously considering specializing in Ob-GYn, and I am going to start volunteering on the mother-baby ward at my local hosptial. I am really excited (and a bit nervous), but my goal is to make a positive impact and hopefully learn more about what it takes to be an ob-gyn nurse...
Finally to my question: I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what qualities and/or skills a good volunteer would need in this area.
Thanks in advance for your help!!
(sorry for the repost...i tried to delete this first...)

Just ask the staff/manager how you can be of MOST USE. that is the best way I know to "fit in". GOOD LUCK and RELAX AND ENJOY YOURSELF!!!!
