Specializes in CV Surgical, ICU.

I got accepted into and will be attending an LPN course in the fall at Lowell Tech. :lol2:

From there I planned to go to Rivier in Nashua to do an LPN-RN program, how long do those typically take?

Does anyone know if you still have to complete those courses required for general admission? Or does the LPN license suffice?

Sooo excited! :lol2: :redpinkhe

I don't know your program and it may be best to consult the LPN/RN program's website. In my state, if you wish to go from LPN to RN, you must satisfy all the requirements because the RN degree is an ADN degree. You must satisfy any missing classes before you can graduate. The best thing to do is talk to a nursing counselor or consult the RN program website.

You most likely will have to take both Anatomy 1 & 2, chemistry, human develpoment/lifespan psychology as well as microbiology as prerequisites prior to bridging over depending on what your community college requires for admittance to their program. In addition, some programs may require entrance exams such as teas/hesi/net
