Hello. I am currently a Canadian-born RN working here in Canada. I will be marrying my husband that lives in Minnesota. I wanted to take the NCLEX for US licensure while I am still here in Canada. Here are my questions:
1) Am I allowed to take the NCLEX within Canada for US Licensure?
2) Is there any difference between NCLEX given in the US versus the one given in Canada?
3) If I pass the NCLEX in Canada, does it mean I can also practice in the US (after registering with the Minnesota state board)?
Thanks!!

NCLEX is the same, check state requirements for International educated nurses and start process. NCLEX can be sat in Canada and most states if not all accept NCLEX pass from Canada
