Thank you!

I have taken the course myself. I can say without question that it was worth every penny. It is intense, but the instructors engage the students and prepare you for the examination. I found that the knowledge was immediately applied to my practice and impacted the patient's care positively. I have found the support that WCEI gives is genuine and quick. They are leading by example and have engaged among colleagues on Facebook, Twitter and video sharing sites by sharing tips, how-to videos, industry news, and much more. I would recommend the course without hesitation.

As a Wound Care Nurse, I work in an outpatient wound care center and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy unit. We treat patients who are plagued by various types of wound etiologies including diabetic, vascular, traumatic, infectious, surgical and other types of wounds. My training with the Wound Care Education Institute has prepared me and keeps me current on Standards of Care. That alone is worth the cost of the course. The integrity of the company is solid and recommended.

Go for it, you will not be disappointed. Feel free to contact me, I'd love to talk about them.

It was so worth the money. The best career decision I have ever made. I love wound care and this class put everything into perspective for me regarding preventing, treating and healing those wounds! I highly recommend it to anyone.

I'm going to piggyback on your post a little bit...sorry! I just wanted to say that I too am interested in wound care and was wondering which program out there was the best, so it's helpful to read this information. Anyway, I am still currently in school and will get my RN in a few months. I realize that stepping into wound care directly out of school isnt going to happen. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to "get my foot in the door"? Where is the best place to be exposed to wounds while working as a floor nurse? How long do you think I should work before going through a wound care program?

Check out the National Alliance of Wound Care preceptor program. My friend is going through it now. There are nurses out there that jump into wound care right away. It is referred more as going into a speciality.
