Question for all Pre-op/pacu RNS

Hi,

I am in charge of putting together a short time out script. One area of focus is to make sure the patient knows to speak up if any information is wrong and to make sure they are involved in the time out if they are able to be. Does anyone use a scripted time out card? If so what do you say? Thanks for any help!

We don't have anything scripted out exactly but after running thru each item of the time out, we ask the pt if they agree that the information is correct before proceeding.
