question about nursing specialties

I am looking into the nursing field and hope to be starting a program in August. I have done some volunteer work with people who have Traumatic Brain Injuries and I have really enjoyed it. I was wondering, what type of nursing job would this type of care fall under? I really enjoy working with people who are lacking motor skills and have cognitive deficiencies. I appreciate your response!

Neuro ICU or Neuroscience stepdown would probably include that.

Specializes in Geriatrics/Oncology/Psych/College Health.

Ortho/neuro and/or Rehab nursing would be good starts. So glad you enjoy it - it's a challenging specialty that needs good people :).
