Question about Nova's requirements

Published

Hello everyone! This is my first post, although I have been a visitor on this forum for years. Now it is my turn to begin applying, and I've decided that Nova is the place that best fits my needs and completed courses. I've heard nothing but praise for Nova's attention and care when it comes to students, and to me, that is worth the higher price tag.

I've got a few questions for those of you who are familiar with Nova's program. First, it says on their course requirements page that they require three credits in "Any Written Communications Course". I've got ENC 1101 and 1102, plus a Literature course. Is this what is meant by "communications"? Also, there do not seem to be any mathematics requirements, unlike most public school, where College Algebra as well as Statistics is required.

Thanks to all in advance for any info! =)

I am applying to Nova's nursing program for the fall '09. If you look online the phone number for Nova is listed, and you can call and speak with the nursing school academic adviser...I forget his name, but the nursing dept can direct your call. He was very informative and helpful. Basically, he told me to send my application, transcripts, and letters of recommendation at the end of this semester. I am just waiting for my classes I took this past semester to show up on my transcript and then I am applying. Good luck!
