I posted this in the General discussion, would be great to know an opinion from a managers perspective...

Hey all-just looking for some opinions here. I just had interview today for an ED position which I do want. The next step in the interview process is to do a peer interview and shadow which I have scheduled for Sunday. Now here is the twist, I just found out I am pregnant today. I have a condition which causes me to miscarriage about 50% of the time. So I have noi idea what will become of this pregnancy (I am praying it will stick Anyway what do I do about the job? Do I wait to see if I even get an offer and then tell the nurse manager. I know that legally they cannot discriminate against pregnancy, but I would want to be fair and give them fair warning that in 9 months I would be out for several weeks. Agh! This happened with my last job. I was pregs with my son when I got my cuurent job and I told them when I got the offer, but I was already 12 weeks along at that point. They were only concerned with if I would be returning after. Any opinions please!!!!

Thanks!
