Question about Littman Classic II

Published

Do you have to rotate the chestpiece to turn the side on you want to use? I bought a sprague stethoscope and you have to turn it like that. But I had been trying a Littman Classic II and couldn't hear out of it and was wondering if maybe that was why. Thanks!

You have to twist it to open the side you want. I thought my bell was broken until a classmate showed me. It has been dropped a few times, but the diaphragm was working okay. I am going to try the hard earpieces next time, though. I don't always hear as well as I'd like with mine, but my hearing seems to be excellent in everyday life.

Maybe I should try not to drop it so much.
