Question for ER nurses who have kids..

I’m wondering how are the ER moms doing during this pandemic ? Are you guys self isolating yourself? I was on a leave and am scheduled to go back next month but I will be requesting a 0.2 FTE position to cut down my hours. I have a toddler at home and Like everyone else, I’m scared to work during this pandemic. I have no means of self isolating and have no family support at the moment. Should I go back or wait ? I’m so confused!!

I don't have kids, but some of my coworkers do. They are not self-isolating themselves, but are being very cautious - taking a change of clothes, changing shoes, basically quarantining their laundry room, etc. ?

I know that has to be nerve-wracking as a mom.

Thank you so much! I’m just terrified to be honest! The risk is definitely there! Be safe!
