I'm starting the nursing program at liu this year. I've taken the yearly drug test required by LIU and passed. I wanted to know if there are any LIU or other nursing students have had to take drug tests at each of the clinical sites as well?
I'm asking because in addition to working and being a nursing student I wanted to know if I also need to make time to take 3+ drug tests and etc per year.
oops I bradyed again

My program only drug tested us when we were first admitted. We do not have to complete yearly drug tests or tests for each clinical placement.

I go to LIU now it depends on the hospital that you get for clinical's. Some sites will require a drug test and more paperwork, others will accept what you completed already
thanks for your input. im at liu too, this is my first semester.
Okay, cool! good luck with finals!!! It's actually not bad at all. Just don't skip the reviews they do :)
Thanks a lot. I'll make sure I'm there for all the reviews. Only strife is we aren't getting a review for patho:-(. All the luck to you as well!
I probably shouldn't say this on the forum, YOLO but you don't need a review for patho, the way the final is set up for patho is that, if everyone in class is failing ( which usually happens, one of the professors are super tough), the final is easier, if they are all passing it's harder it's to balance out the different grading styles of the all professors. So, if you in the harder class your use to her questions and will ace the final. If your not in her class use her BP template and make your own BP and follow it, you'll also ace the final, patho is the only course thats like that.
You got this!
I think im in the harder class lol. Totally using the blueprint as my guide. Thank you so much for the info.
