I am interviewing at a hospital next week, trying to get out of my night shift position here in LTC. I have one year experience, but feel like a hospital is what I really need for experience and learning at this point.
My question is, is the "two week" rule the standard for giving notice in LTC/nursing? I've yet to leave a "real job" so I just need some advice on what is a reasonable time frame for giving my notice if I'm offered a position next week.
Thanks, just trying to get my ducks in a row here :)
