Question for Case Managers

Hello,

I'm very much interested in nursing and I am close to applying for an ELMSN/FNP program. I spoke to the admissions adviser at the school of my #1 choice. After our interview, she told me that I would be a perfect candidate for their Case Management program. I have my heart and soul set on nursing for underserved communities as an FNP, but I can't help but think that perhaps I'd do well as a case manager instead. So, my question is to all Case Managers out there...could you please let me know what Case Management entails? What's it about? How are your days spent and anything else you think I should know?I don't know much about Case Management, but I'm hoping to shadow a CM this semester while I'm still working on my pre-reqs.

TY!
