I don't to take more time to student Nurse school in San Francisco, becuase I already know that school in my visiting once, they provided tranining is before I know. I want to get a license for my work.
My lincese : Hong Kong Hosptial Authority (Validity to end of 2009)
Pls let me konw more information.

Your training is that of the LVN and is not the same as the RN. You would have to apply for that license and have CA review your records and see if they will accept it.
And do you have a visa that will permit you to work here? If not, then you will not be able to get one based on that training. You state that you are a resident here, but not sure in what capacity.
Hi Suzanne,
Thank you for reply !
I have permit working in here (Green Card for CA resident)and SSN# in San Francisco.
Can you give some information for which one department (in Californa)can review? My records included Hong Kong Nursing Borad Certificate, Certificate of Nursing School in Hong Kong Hostipal and some specialist nurusing care attendance.
Best Rgds,
The Bureau that licenses the LVN will have to evaluate your trainings, etc. and then decide if they will accept it. The LVN licenses are handled under a separate agency in CA, it is now under the Dept of Consumer Affairs since July 1.
They are going to be purely interested in what courses that were covered during your actual training in your School of Nursing, but will require the other documentation as well. Acceptence of your credentials is based purely on what you did in school, not what was done afterwards as far as classes unless they were in an approved School of Nursing.
You may wish to check out the CA Forum located above to find out specific information about the LVN license in CA.
Best of luck to you.
Suzanne,
Thank you so much ! Let me check CA Forum.
