I'm going to be doing an OR rotation during my clinicals in the Fall and wanted to find some good reference or pocket books to read through before I start so I'll be a bit prepared. I plan on purchasing Alexander's Care of the Patient in Surgery. Are there any others that you would recommend? Thanks for your help!

you might want to check into this one - i recommend it highly. amazon.com usually has used copies or copies from other vendors listed with prices that vary quite a bit, from almost free to pretty expensive. check out their website and see what they might have available that day.........you might also browse your local bookstores as well - such as border's or barnes and noble - sometimes they carry them on their shelves.
