Question about bidding and benefits?!

Published

So Im in a very tough spot...choosing between 2 jobs, a nursing assistant position at the hospital (telemetry/med surg) and a cardiology medical assistant position . Anyways I was asking the recruiter at the hospital (bc they didnt tell me any of the details!) about the benefits...bc I heard part time benefits can be expensive. She said something about the full time are 80/20 and part time are 90/10...I dont know what that means! She said they will give me my benefit package next Tuesday when I go for the physical thing (not at hospital). That doesnt help much I have to choose a job by Friday! For bidding she said you have to wait 90 days,...but if its from part time to full time you can do so right away? Do you really think so? Also would it have to be for the same exact floor? Thanks I appreciate your help :)

These are things that we can't answer for you, only people at your specific hospital can. Everyplace is different. I imagine if she said something is true, that she wasn't lying to you.

Thanks, yeah I just wasnt sure how things work...and who knows when they will tell me. The recruiter sounded annoyed when I called her yesterday...could be bc I had another job offer. I just wanted to try to get as much info as possible to help me make my decision. It sucks because I dont know the details exactly! So hard :(

She was probably annoyed because you were being a pest, not because you had another job offer!

Well I mean I thought the least they could do is explain my benefits etc. to me..I dont think thats being a pest. Im pretty sure it was bc of the other job offer though. She asked are you going to take the other offer.

I looked at the first and second pages of this forum, and I see that you have made 10 separate threads in the last few days on here, mostly asking about trivial things or wanting us to make decisions for you. If you're such a pest on here then I'd be willing to bet you're pestering your new employers too.
