Question about ACEN Accreditation Status

Published

I want to apply for a community college near my house to get an associate degree. I noticed the accreditation status for that college is

[TD]"Next evaluation visit: Fall 2022 with Conditions Follow-Up Report - Spring 2017"

What does this mean?

I really want to pursue a higher degree after this so I care about its accreditation status.

Any comments will greatly appreciated!

It means the school is noncompliant in 1-2 areas of evaluation, has been informed and told to fix it, and may have those issues addressed in a follow up visit. The school associated with my hospital received conditions due to 2 instructors who did not yet have an MSN. Solution? Those 2 instructors completed their MSN.
