Hi everyone,

I am not sure if this is the right place to do it. I am trying to apply with the NMC however my ielts score average is 8.0 however my individual scores are listening 9.0, speaking 8.0, reading 7.5 and writing 6.5. With scores like this it is still considered a failas i didnt hit 7 in writing right? I will still try to retake if NMC rejects my ielts.

Another thing i want to check is although i have about 3 years of working experience, it is all clinic settings like example school health, women's clinic, general clinic etc. I do not have any ward experience so would that decrease my chances of getting a jpb in the UK or would it be better if i applied other countries?

Btw i am from singapore, i did my diploma in singapore and degree in uk wales. Any advice will be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you

As long as your work experience was nurse related you should be ok. Regarding English exam really only NMC can answer whether they will accept your score

After getting a license would it be easier to get a job via an agency or thru nhs? Would it be more advisable if i went there as a healthcare assistant first then while i am there convert to a registered nurse?
