Members are discussing their experiences and tips for getting into a nursing program. They emphasize the importance of good communication skills, patient advocacy, and sociability during interviews, rather than just focusing on grades and test scores. They also share information about the program schedule, group chats, and their individual academic backgrounds.
The application for 2025 fall term is starting in March, but I just want to have some discussions with you guys. Feel free to share your stats, like what you got on each pre-clinical course. I'll share mine first

Dkdn D said:That's pretty good since York College doesn't allow any grade substitution. By the way, what do they ask you during the interview at both QCC and York?
Just general questions like tell me about your strengths and weaknesses, why do you want to become a nurse, which field are you interested in
Dkdn D said:I think you can apply multiple times, so even if you don't get in for Fall 2025, you can apply again for Spring 2025 after completing all the recommended courses.
Do you know how many times we can take pex and repeat a preclinical course (I didn't fail but I just want to boost my grade)
Ryan B said:They do accept students who haven't finished Microbiology, but that's only if you are getting straight As this semester
No way, there were people who got in with 3.1 GPA, and they didn't take micro bio, it's random. At least, our GPA and pex score aren't the only thing the school looks at
Hi Dkdn, do you know if they let us retake a preclinical course?
Hi Dkdn, do you know if they let us retake a preclinical course? I don't know how I did everything right, the homework, the project, quizzes, but I got a B in English. Maybe I did bad on the final, but how do I make up for it?
