It depends on the state, I imagine.
For an RN program you must have your masters, for most LPN programs a Bachelors is OK
It also varies from school to school. RNs with a BSN can teach in LPN schools here.
NLN approved schools usually require Master's Degrees for ADN programs and a certain number of instructors in NLN approved BSN schools have to have PhD's.
Here in FL you have to have a Masters to teach the lectures, but you can teach a clinical group with a BSN, but that's a part-time position.
Good luck to you in whatever you do. We need educators in the USA, there are thousands of students waiting to get into school because of the lack of educators.
