PVAMU Prospective Students (Spring 2013)

Hello to all who is applying to PVAMU-CON! Has anyone received an acceptance letter from the university (not the CON)?

Hey atrain010.. I called the evolve folks to send my scores to PV because i took the exam for another school.. they processed my transaction yesterday.. So i'm gonna call them tomorrow to check on the status.. I think the transcript dept is here in houston because when i called i had to leave a msg and they called me back with a 713 #.. So i'm really hoping that they've sent it and it will get there before the deadline.

Yeah I'm hoping mine get to the deadline as well ! hopefully they're electronic but who knows.I just sent mine out this morning right after i took it. I was going to go up the CON tomorrow to touch up on everything. Hopefully we all get in :)

Hey guys, when I sent my hesi scores after having taken them for another school, ms. A and evolve both confirmed that they e-mail the scores to PV so after they charged me, they were sent right after. Hope this helps :)

Yay.. I feel relieved.. But i'm kinda scared that my HESI scores might not pull me through to get an admission.. My A&P and Math scores were 76. I barely passed..

So i went to PV this morning and i spoke to Ms. A. I have been worried about my application because of HESI score. But she told me that they don't look at the HESI scores unless there are too many applicants.. She said as far as I passed all the section with a 75 then I am good to go.. I feel very relieved.. Just leaving it to God to make the finally decision.. I hope we all get in..

That's good news ! Did you know how long it took for the scores to get there ?! The testing place called me to confirm my information and my money was taken out today for it. I hope it can get there . When I called ms a today she was kind if too busy to check for me

When i got there this morning, she was also too busy to answer all my questions.. I just ended up asking her my most important question which is about the scores.. But I will call Evolve again on monday to double check.. hopefully someone more patient will answer this time around and check it for me..

Did you ever get the other application that everyone was talking about?

Not yet.. You get it when the CON receives everything needed for the application.. I'm hoping I get it by next week.. From what i've been reading, once you receive it, fill it out and send it back ASAP...
