Passed NCLEX 1st time..after a year off school :))) took California Nclex RN December 8, 2015. Found on nursys my license on December 11, 2015
QUICKRESULTS: checked pvt trick right after I left test center. Got the good pop up, recheck it next day and they day after. Then checked nursys for RN license, and it was there ))))) my name. RN officially. Happy times
OBSTACLES: diagnosed HTN and CKD Stage 4. *Feb. 2015. Missed my Test July 2015, reapplied and waited for new ATT took 3 months. (Cried my ass off till i can barely see my eyes from edema) Scheduled test December 8 2015
MUST HAVE: though i hit depression hard after i miss my test and from all my medication (steroids, mycophenolate, bp pills) you have to keep going, although you r holding onto a small strand of hope... people will be there but it's all up to you to see things in a more positive way. So when u get to that point ..smile, its not the end of the world.
*GREAT number of people are worried that i wasnt going to pass since I was out in school for a year, but I got passion, consistency, and hard work. That and coffee, supportive family and great zumba classes (to relieve stress)
STUDIED: kaplan, Hurst, Nclex RN ultimate app and Nclex mastery app, plus my notes from 4th semester.
HOW: schedule study; example Monday and Tuesday cardiac, Wednesday Neuro and every end of studying i test myself with the app. Kaplan: always do the Nclex 175- 200 q. Till your used to answering many so when ur on your tests date you won't get anxiety when you get to 200s qs.
DAY B4 TEST: hike and jump off hermit falls.... very cold but hey gave me a thrill to be ready for next day :)
NCLEX TEST DAY: woke up 530 am. Prayed. Pandora on iggy azalea, showered, *bought McDonald's (avoid stomach gurgling during test) and small coffee (not too much avoid crazy palpitations), sweater (stay warm), I was getting over a sickness so had cold drops on hand, and scarf. While waiting just Google funny pics and have fun and relax till they open the door @ 8 am.*
AFTERTEST: pvt trick right away. Good pop up they say. NURSYS GUARANTEED n 4 days. Name on file.
Bday this weekend and I'm partying n Pasadena plus ufc 194... going in a cruise this jan 2016. life is great, God is great... Good luck to everyone! Wish you guys all the best
I must say though, just because you happened to get that pop-up and ended up passing doesn't necessarily mean it "worked" - it could've easily been coincidental. There was an 85% chance of you passing the NCLEX-RN, regardless (the national passing rate).
Well for me it worked a 100 percent but you may be right... I guess I'm one statistic that is positive on PVT. I havent heard any people i know of that failed them. tell tales and all base on ecperience. Ty for the comment.
well I have proven at least for me that it worked. So I can't negate what I have just experience. But thanks for the comment :) I have proven myself that I am right does not mean it will apply to others... if it doesn't then keep on studying, people can't depend on these tricks but study hard for their boards. I have a question. How do we check the official result in California except waiting for the result letter. I always see posts like "check the result in BON". does that mean check name in breeze?or the bon website?

The next day, I read someone saying you have to pass all 8 client needs area to pass (which is a myth btw), I decided to do the PVT at 26th hour and got the good pop-up.
The next morning, checked on BON and saw my name--all in less than 48 hrs post exam.
