Purchasing a PNS

Published

Ok, I am sick of the PNS that is available at the hospital. It's either not functioning correctly (very old) or its the one on the ADU that I am convinced in only functioning 1/2 of the time. I need my own. I have looked online and have found nothing. If you own your own unit..where did you purchase it?

I got mine free from a drug rep, but I know you can find them at http://www.ccrmed.com.

You want an objective standard for testing a PNS? Tetorifice in the underarm area on a coworker on the highest rating. Try that sometime. Coworker did it to me and for 1 year had to wear the unit's only PNS everyday I worked like a pager. Staff knew where to find it if they needed it.
