Christmas Day and New Year's Day are the only two days for the holiday as paid days off. The others, that are standard in all 50 states are Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the above two days. These are what we call the six legal holidays.
Some states have additional days that are considered holidays, sucn as Martin Luther King Day, etc. And you are paid for the day off.
Then depending on the facility, some pay for Easter, but they are not required to.

Only count on the six legal days, not like other countries where it is several days off for each. If it works into your schedule that you can get the time off, then great.
Thank you Ms.Suzanne :) and Wishing all at 'allnurses.com' a very Happy Christmas and a very very Happy New Year :balloons: :Holly1: :smiley_aa :Present1: .:Santa1: -flyinghigh
