hi everyone....
anyone here or was ever a public health nurse....can you tell me about a typical day...what you do,how far you travel..etc...
i have an interview for public health...i know they go to peoples houses.....
this is what the person over the phone said......you will get pay according to your duties...if you go in and help a quad with care...it is aid pay...if you go in and cath or pour meds...LPN pay......does this seem right? I have heard if aides are short in a hospital and pull a LPN you still get LPN pay......
also....what type of nursing do you do in the houses?caths, trach care,meds...what else?
thanks everyone

My mother has been a public health nurse for close to 10 years. I obvivously can't comment on her dutues, but she gets the same pay for every type of patient she sees regardless of her dutues.
