I am interested in becoming a psyh nurse and would like to eventualy experience a number of different wards/fields of psychology upon graduation. What I was wondering though is about the forensic ward. A am a young female and am not very big or strong. Would I still be able to work in a forensic ward where there are violent patients who may need to be constrained at times? Also what is it like to work with this type of patient? Do any of you have experience of working with dangerous patients as a female?
