I am studying for my psychiatric nursing certification. Has anyone tested for this certification lately?? and if so do you have any tips?

Not lately--I took it three years ago. I think they did a major revamp of the test since then so I don't know what's changed. But I'll tell you from my experience that unlike the NCLEX, this test is going to be a couple of hours of nothing but psych questions, and they are going to get more far more in-depth into it than the NCLEX did.

Study guides will be your friend. Get two or three. I got the one that the ANCC recommended, plus a couple of other ones that I found at Amazon/online.

And don't forget the 30 CEUs that you have to rack up first. Use that as an opportunity to brush up on areas of psych that you're a little weak on.
