RPN can work in Continuing Care, I've worked with a few.
I don't really think there is a "bridge" per se. It used to be RPNs had to upgrade a course or two (for some reason post partum and pediatrics come to mind) but that was when there were diploma grads from RN programmes.
You need to check with your advisor or even try GMU (I think they ran a RPN course or is the Ponoka class part of GMU?).
Just remember BC requires a BScN for RN entry. I thought AB had gone to a degree programme for RPNs?

Currently a first year psychiatric nursing student and i am quite enjoying it! i want to move to bc when im done and im interested in possibly becoming an Rn. i suppose i will decide once i have some med surg experience. does anyone know of any bridging programs in BC? i know the university of alberta offers it but i cant seem to find one any were else. i am doing the diploma program at the ponoka campus. thanks!
