Psych/mental health NP program

I was just accepted into the psych/mental health nurse practitioner program at Indiana Wesleyan university. The program is all online with some onsite requirements. I was just interested in getting some feedback on other people's experiences going through PMHNP school. Was it extremely stressful? Did your work and family suffer? I have a family with young children and I just want to know what I am getting myself into. My BSN was online through the same school and it wasn't too bad just time consuming.

I would try talking to former or current students of the program to get a better insight on your specific program. Only you know what you can handle with work and taking care of family. I worked full-time, had two children, moved from Ohio to Hawaii and then California, all while completing a doctorate degree.
