Nurses Month 2024 | Discounts & Freebies AORN Celebrates Nurses Month

Hey all!

I have been a psych nurse for 2 years. I am applying and interviewing for new jobs. One of the units is "Psych Medical Acute." Patient to nurse ratio is 6:1. In your experience, does that typically mean med surg patients with psych issues or psych patients with some medical issues? I am used to very mobile patients now with no IVs and am kinda nervous, truth be told. Thank you for any insight and/or advice.
