I received an interview invite for Mission about 15 mins after I finished the text screening around 8:00 am - I scheduled my interview for 1/9

What mission hospital are you referring to? Mission Viejo or Mission Laguna Beach?

Why did I think mission was in LA? I never checked that one because that's what I assumed.

My interview is tomorrow at Tarzana as well! Good luck on your interviews everyone!

My interview is also tomorrow!! Good luck to you

Anyone get an interview invitation from a facility other than Mission or Tarzana ??

For those who interviewed in person today, did we need to bring copies of resume at all or do they have laptops / copies already ?

Anyone that has interviewed have a pointers? This is my first nursing interview ever so I'm really nervous.

Be confident and sure of your answers! Also make sure to study their missions and core values.

For the case study questions, they'll give you 5 minutes to look over it and write down notes. You're also going to be giving an SBAR. I got a Sepsis case study scenario during my interview

for those who have interviewed, any tips?

When I interviewed for St. Joes Burbank TIP September 2024 cohort, I made sure to study their 5 core values (compassion, dignity, excellence, justice and integrity),  and talked about how I was able to implement those values when I worked as a nurse extern and as a nursing student in clinicals. I also highlighted my experience working in the hospitality industry and as a nurse extern. Funnily enough, the restaurant I worked at as a server was a place one of my interviewers really liked going to. So I felt like that kinda made me become more likable to them. I also made sure to talk about how as nurses, helping our patients emotionally and holistically is just as important as helping them physically, and I feel like they really liked that answer. I also got a sepsis case study during my interview. They just wanna know if you're a safe nurse, and what things to look out for and what to do.

The day after my interview, I got a call with an offer at one of the top 3 units that I wanted!

Thank you for the tips! Do you know if everyone got the same case study
Did you accept the offer?! If so, how do you like it? 🙂

Anyone have the number to call for apple valley for being late to interview? Huge accident on the 15

My friends who also interviewed at the same time said they also got a sepsis case study! But I know sometimes they'll have an MI case study, or something about hypoglycemia.

I did accept the offer! I've been in their TIPS program for about 4 months now, and I love the unit I got hired at. There's so much support as a new nurse, and I feel like I'm learning a lot

Thanks for all the advice guys! Did anyone bring their portfolios to their interview? Or did you guys just bring several copies of your resume?
